I am a storyteller

We’re all storytellers; we tell stories all the time—with the things we say, the things we do, the people we love. 

I choose to tell stories through words. Words are powerful and I believe it matters how we use them.

Originally from Mississauga, I am a freelance writer who splits her time between Toronto and small town Maple Leaf, Ontario. I hold an M.A. in Critical and Creative Writing from the University of Gloucestershire, have a postgraduate certificate with Honours in Professional Writing and Communications from Humber College, and hold a B.A. in Honours English Literature and Creative Writing. 

Though I am most interested in and excel at profiling, I have experience writing in fashion, business, food, and events. I have been published both in print and online in literary magazines, local newspapers, and affluent lifestyle magazines. I have judged international short story contests, created web content that targets SEO for business, and have acted as a handling editor for a literary magazine.
